How To Do Facebook Search For People Without Logging In?

Facebook is a name which needs no introduction. It is one of the most viral social media sites on the internet. It is hard to find someone who uses the internet, is not using Facebook. It is not just another website but a platform where you can find your old friends to whom you are not in touch since long. It did help me find a lot of school mates to whom I was not in contact, and even I didn’t have any contact details. But, Facebook made it possible to find them because it is not just a social network but a search engine as well where you can find people from all around the world.
If you are a normal Facebook user who doesn’t know the geeky stuff or more features, then this post is going to help you. Finding friends and different people on Facebook is easy when you are logged in using your account. But, what if you want to search for people without logging in?
Did you ever think about it as how it can be done? If it is possible or not?
Let me tell you that this fairly possible to do Facebook search for people without logging in. Yes, there are certain ways you can search for anyone on Facebook without logging into your account. So, let’s take a look at those ways further in this blog post.

Ways to do Facebook Search for People Without Logging In

  1. Use People Search Feature of Facebook

Facebook has created a page from where you can search for friends or other people without logging in.
Clicking this link will take you to the above-shown page where you need to enter the name and search for it.
To narrow down the search, you can filter the results as well with “Filter by City” and “Filter by School”. These filters help you locate the person you are searching for in a far better way because with one name there are thousands of people on Facebook.
I found this method as the easiest method to do Facebook search for people without logging in.
  1. Using Facebook Directory

Facebook Directory as the name says is the directory of all the people, places, and pages available on the Facebook. You can make use of it to find any of your friends or people without logging in.
It is kind of dictionary thing where you can find the names alphabetically as there is an option given there. If you want to search the people whose name starts with “B” you can click on B, and then try to locate that person. You can make use of Ctrl + F in your browser to find the name quickly while being on the page with lots of names.
This is indeed a good method, but I find it a bit difficult to find the names here. I found people search feature easier.
Note: When you search for people, you may not see those profiles that have changed their security settings. If they have restricted their profiles not to be listed in the public listing, then their names won’t be available in the directory.
  1. Google Search

When it comes to “Search”, Google cannot be ignored because it can find almost everything available on the internet. Yes, it does help you do Facebook search for people without logging into Facebook.
You just need to go to Google.com, and type in, site:facebook.com <people name>, and all the public profiles with that name will be shown in the search results.
I have marked only one result, but Google will show all the results that match with that name available on Facebook.
This is a great way where you don’t need to go to Facebook to do the Facebook search for people, and you are able to find out. Then you can click on the profile to proceed. I found this as the best way to do Facebook search for people without logging in.

Final Words

I found these 3 methods the most effective ones during my test. However, many articles on the web state that socialsearcher.com and some other extensions do the stuff too, but as per my tests, I didn’t find them effective to find people’s profile. Therefore, I would highly recommend you to try out the 3 methods I have mentioned in this blog post since these are the best ways to do Facebook search for people without logging in.
My favorite is the #1 =>Facebook People Search
What do you think about these methods? Did you try out any of these earlier? If yes, what was your experience?
I would love to hear your experiences, views, and feedback. Please share in the comments.
